Late Arrivals

Please arrive in good time for your appointment. If you arrive late, we will always try to accommodate you, but your service may need to be shortened or adjusted so subsequent clients are not inconvenienced.

Where there is insufficient time to safely and professionally complete the booked service, we may need to rearrange the appointment and a cancellation charge may apply.

Consultations

A thorough consultation is an important part of the Anna Hudson Hair experience. Please tell your stylist what you would like to achieve and raise any concerns before your service begins.

Reference photographs are welcome, although results naturally vary according to hair type, condition, starting colour and previous treatments.

Our stylists may recommend an alternative approach where the requested service could compromise the condition of your hair or is unlikely to achieve a satisfactory result. We reserve the right to decline a treatment we do not consider appropriate or professionally advisable.

Colour Services & Testing

Client safety is paramount. Where required, colour services are subject to an appropriate allergy alert/skin test being completed within the required timeframe.

Anna Hudson Hair Limited reserves the right to refuse a colour service where required testing has not been completed. Strand testing may also be required for certain colour, lightening and corrective services.

Clients should provide an accurate history of previous colour and chemical treatments and tell their stylist about relevant changes which may affect the suitability of a treatment.

Colour Results & Corrections

Hair colour is a creative and technical process. Results can be affected by existing colour, previous chemical treatments, home colouring, hair condition, porosity and colour history.

Major colour changes and corrective work may require more than one appointment to achieve the desired result while protecting the condition and integrity of the hair. Your stylist will discuss what is realistically achievable before proceeding.

Service Satisfaction

We take considerable pride in our work and want every client to leave Anna Hudson Hair delighted with their service.

If you have a concern, please contact the salon as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 7 days of your appointment. We will normally ask you to return so that we can assess your hair in person.

Where we consider an adjustment appropriate, we will arrange this within a reasonable period at no additional charge.

We cannot normally offer complimentary corrective work where the hair has subsequently been altered by another salon or third party, or where relevant previous treatments were not disclosed to us. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

Pricing

Displayed prices are intended as a guide unless a fixed price has been agreed. Final pricing may vary according to hair length, thickness and condition, product requirements, complexity and the time required.

Where additional work is identified during consultation, your stylist will discuss this with you before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.

Personal Belongings & Clothing

Please take reasonable care of personal belongings while visiting Anna Hudson Hair Limited. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage except where caused by our negligence.

Colour and chemical products can permanently mark clothing despite the care taken by our team. Protective gowns and towels will be provided, but we recommend avoiding particularly valuable or delicate clothing for colour appointments.

Children & Young People

Clients under 16 may be required to attend with, or have the consent of, a parent or guardian depending upon the service. Certain chemical or colour services may not be available to younger clients.

Children accompanying clients should be appropriately supervised for their safety and the comfort of other clients.

Gift Vouchers & Retail Products

Gift vouchers are subject to any expiry date and conditions stated at purchase. They cannot normally be exchanged for cash and lost or stolen vouchers may not be replaceable. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Product returns and refunds will be handled in accordance with statutory consumer rights. For hygiene reasons, opened products which are not faulty may not be eligible for return.

Conduct

Anna Hudson Hair Limited is committed to providing a welcoming, comfortable and respectful environment for clients and our team.

Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intimidating or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or other clients will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service and ask an individual to leave where their behaviour is unacceptable.

Photography & Social Media

With your permission, we may occasionally ask to photograph or film finished work for our portfolio, website or social media. There is no obligation to agree and declining will not affect the service you receive.

Identifiable client images will not be used for promotional purposes without appropriate permission.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of your appointment unless otherwise agreed. Any outstanding cancellation or non-attendance charges may need to be settled before another appointment can be booked.
